Mix and master FAQs

Let's get it
ready.

What files should I send for mixing?

Clean, clearly labeled stems or a Pro Tools session, a rough mix, and one to three reference tracks help the engineer get started. BPM, key, and both wet and dry vocals are useful when available.

What should I send for mastering?

Playback currently requests a final 24-bit/48 kHz WAV, ideally without heavy limiting or compression on the master bus. Ask the team for an export checklist.

Can you work on music recorded elsewhere?

Yes. Artists can send tracks recorded at home or in other commercial studios, including projects from outside Los Angeles.

How do reviews and revisions work?

The mix is reviewed and approved before mastering starts. Package inclusions and turnaround are confirmed with your quote; published mix tiers include two revision rounds.
